Gazing off into the misty expanse of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the views seem to go on forever. Here the homes take full advantage of the views with wrap-around porches, multi-level decks, and stunning floor -to-ceiling windows.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are a spectacular outdoor playground offering endless opportunities for adventure.

Fishing – A trophy rainbow rising to the fly creates an experience that lasts a lifetime. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources publishes a comprehensive trout fishing guide, available at the Welcome Center. Our area lakes are also home to bass, bream, catfish, perch and crappie. Blue Ridge Lake, in particular, is known for its white bass fishing.

Hiking – Lace up and hit the trail: Both the Appalachian Trail and the Benton MacKaye Trail wind through the area.

Hunting -A pointing dog and the thrill of a covey flush delivers the kind of excitement that is rivaled by very few experiences in the outdoors. And creating the perfect backdrop for those experiences is Noontootla Creek Farms (ncfga.com). NCF’s 1,500 acres feature more than 2 miles of quality trout water and excellent quail hunting. Quail hunts take place in fields adjacent to the trout stream January through the end of March.

Shooting sports – Noontootla Creek Farms also operates a 12-station sporting clays course. On this course, you can shoot 100 rounds, and a golf cart is included!

Best of all, million dollar views are still surprisingly available (and affordable). Search our exclusive mountain properties and communities. You can search by area or property type Mountain, River, Lake, Golf and Investment.
